Heyo! Hope you’re having a great May. This is the top WNBA card sales on eBay for April 2022 report.
After a soft March, April saw the highest sale for a PSA card in a long time, with a 2016 Rittenhouse WNBA Breanna Stewart rookie auto in PSA 10 condition taking the top spot at $5,750.
This was followed by another star’s rookie card, the 2008 Rittenhouse WNBA Candace Parker PSA 10 at $2,666.66. These two sales were bright spots on the list that included a lot of the usual suspects.
With a lot of inventory on the market – especially PSA slabs – it’s no wonder that sales for many WNBA cards are leveling off. New collectors and investors continue to come into the market, it has not kept pace with the rate of new inventory on the market.
It’s something to watch as we head into the season where in-game play can often drive large upward – or downward – swings in pricing.
Lisa Leslie Welcome to the Party
She one of the games greatest players, but Lisa Leslie is rarely a name we see pop up on the list. One of the most popular players with collectors, it’s surprising we don’t see more Leslie cards sell at higher price points.
This month two of her 1/1’s made the list, showing that even long retired WNBA players can still pull a good buck. Congrats to the buyer on those two great pieces.
