Yo! Welcome to the top WNBA card sales for March 2022 report.
Same as last month, this is getting out the door late. April has been incredibly busy as we’re working on adding EVERY WNBA card ever produced to The Collection.
Sales were soft on the high end of the spectrum, with only two sales above $2,500 during the month. There were two other sales over $1,000, with the remain sales ranging in the $500 – $1,000 range.
There is no reason to sound any alarms at the soft sales – April has proven to be quite active, with several higher end sales. A preview of things to come.
The biggest surprise was the $2,500 sale of a 2013 Rittenhouse WNBA Brittney Griner PSA 10 rookie card. #FreeBG
Sami Whitcomb Makes an Appearance
Sami Whitcomb is a name we haven’t seen on our top sales. She is a fine player, but there was no one think her cards would approach, let alone reach, four figures.
Well, that’s what happened in March, as her 2021 Panini Prizm WNBA Black Prizm 1/1 sold for $1,000. This is the highest known sale for one of her cards.
Those Aussies are passionate fans and collectors.
