2001 Fleer Ultra WNBA Cynthia Cooper

The first card to appear on the list of top Cynthia Cooper cards is the 2001 Fleer Ultra WNBA Cynthia Cooper. This card makes the list as it features Cooper in a different role – that of coach for the Phoenix Mercury. In 2000 Cooper retired from the game as a player to coach the Phoenix Mercury. The move was short lived, however, as she would return to the Comets for the 2003 season. Now the Head Coach at Texas Southern, this is a great card to recognize Cooper’s coaching career.

2000 SkyBox Hoops WNBA Cynthia Cooper Autographics

The first Cynthia Cooper auto on the list is the 2000 SkyBox Hoops Autographics. One of several autographs from the first four years of her career, this one is a little less popular than the others on the list. This is likely due to collectors preferring the Fleer Ultra set, which comes down to design and the fact that these SkyBox hoops cards were heavily produced during this time period. Even still, it’s a Cooper autograph card and should be on your list to grab when collecting Cynthia Cooper.

From Autographics to a Fresh Ink auto for our next entry on the list. The 1998 Fleer Ultra WNBA Cynthia Cooper Fresh Ink is the one of the first autograph cards produced for the USC legend. Over time collectors and investors have come to value the Fleer Ultra sets from this era higher than it’s Hoops sister, giving this Fresh Ink the edge in terms of desirability and value over the other 1999 options. Numbered to 400 you can still find them from time to time, but that might not be the case for long.
