Yo! What’s up WNBA collector…and if you’re still here…flippers and investors! This is the October 2022 highest WNBA card sales on eBay report.
For once I am on time with one of these. Part of the reason I move so fast was all of the action around the release of 2022 Panini Prizm WNBA.
The latest release sparked the strongest month of sales in the top 20 this year. The highlight of the month was a huge sale of a 2023 Panini Prizm WNBA Maya Moore W25 Gold Vinyl 1/1 at $3,171. This a record sale for a WNBA Gold Vinyl parallel.
The strong sales do not change the fact that it remains a buyers market. Single sales for 2022 WNBA haven’t been impressive outside of the low numbered parallels.
It could be the overall economy, larger checklist, and or the release of white sparkle packs, premium sets, and Revolution WNBA hobby boxes within a six week span. But what do I know.

Heeelllllooooo 2022 Panini Prizm WNBA
As I foreshadowed in the above paragraphs, October was all about 2022 Panini Prizm WNBA. This is not a complete surprise. Three of the five top sales came from the set. Two sales were over $3,000.
A 2002 Fleer Ultra WNBA Sue Bird sold for just $2,250, which is the steal of the year. The last one sold for $4,000.
There was a sale of a 2022 Panini Prizm WNBA Rui Machida Black Gold /5 for $799 which was surprising. I get the international appeal, but I don’t project her as a starter any time soon.
The rest of the list was filled with the usual suspects, although it looks like the future of WNBA cards is going to be driven by Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu.
