The start to the new year has been busy at WNBAcards.com, so our December sales report is coming in a little later than usual.
This month’s top 15 signal a bit of rising tides for pricing, which foreshadow alert, has carried in the month of January.
While it was an overall slow month from a sales perspective, it was encouraging to see a number of nice four figure sales that I’m sure sellers were pleased with.
I also know of a number of solid private sales that have me optimistic that the fever around WNBA cards will reignite as the season approaches.
Sue Bird Takes the Top Spot
For December, Sue Bird’s 2002 Fleer Authentix Rookie Card took the top sales spot for the month.
This is no surprise as find her rookie cards in PSA 10 condition is not an easy feat. (I’ve sent 10 of these cards into grad and only one came back a 10.)
That said, other mainstays of the list Sabrina Ionescu, Diana Taurasi, dominated the list. Candace Parker and Lindsey Whalen also made appearances.
