This installment of the PSA POP count is coming a bit late. My schedule has been insane to start the year and cards have taken a bit of a backseat.
I finally got an opportunity to check-in on reports here and put together the December 2022 WNBA cards PSA POP count update this week.
December was another strong month of output with over 850 WNBA cards getting put in PSA slabs. Let’s take a look at the movers and shakers in the charts!
2022 Prizm WNBA carries the month
The biggest gainer in December was 2022 Panini Prizm WNBA set. Over 350 cards from 2022 were slabbed, close to half of all output for the month.
Overall the recently produced sets are still dominating the POP counts, with over 200 cards from 2020 Prizm WNBA also getting slabbed.
There are now 25,300 WNBA cards in PSA slabs. At the end of December 2021 there were a little over 17,000. This is over a 40% percent increase year over year.
Top WNBA sets show slow and steady growth
The top 10 WNBA card sets continued their trend of slow, steady, upward growth. It’s true: POP counts just go up 😉

Top 35 WNBA Rookie Cards hold steady
With much of the output for December coming from the ultra modern sets, the Top 35 WNBA Rookie Cards overall population held steady in December.
The biggest gainers were the 2002 Authentix WNBA Swin Cash, 2001 Ultra Tamika Catchings, and the 2018 Rittenhouse WNBA A’ja Wilson.
